Leaving milk out for Santa is a tradition synonymous with Christmas. And while DFC’s tradition is ensuring that their milk is made with quality and care, this year, they decided to do something a little extra for three lucky kids.

Dyslexic children are perceived unintelligent as they have trouble reading and writing. The reality is they can be very creative. To raise awareness, we turned to Grey Kuala Lumpur’s in-house illustrator, Vince Low. A dyslexic with an amazing talent, Vince became an online sensation with almost every major site covering his work, and he’s now a successful artist. See his work here.

To make the concrete city a little more beautiful and green, Blooming, a flower company took the help of birds. We coated flower seeds with bird food and fed them to the birds. When the birds pooped, the seeds were dispersed, resulting in the growth of flowers in the most unusual places all over the city.

This never really happened. But it almost did. I have kept it here because it’s big (requires collaboration between the meteorological dept., the airport authority and other government bodies) and I think it’s really cool.
Dengue is a disease caused by mosquitoes and it takes hundreds of lives every year. This idea hits the source of the problem - water, where mosquitoes breed.
Using cloud seeding technology (putting chemicals into the clouds to make it rain in drought-hit areas), we seed the clouds with a chemical that kills mosquito larvae but is harmless to humans. And we create rain, filling every drain, pond and gutter - the breeding grounds for mosquitoes.
